Premise: A group of young American ex-pats with telekinetic and clairvoyant abilities are hiding from a clandestine U.S. government agency. They must utilize their different talents and band together for a final job enabling them to escape the agency forever. (courtesy IMDB.com)
Analysis: Being a huge fan of the X-files, I usually go for anything that deals with paranormal psycho-powers stuff… but I was a little hesitant when I looked at the casting lists and the reviews to watch this one… I should have known better…. I should have. This movie was awful from the get-go and didn’t get any better as things went along. The only thing that saved it from a 1 rating from me was the pretty cool effects they were able to pull of in one or two of the scenes, but there wasn’t much else.
I honestly thought it was laughable at the end when the characters blatantly set up the “francise” for a sequel, “we will be hearing from her again, I bet“… pah-LEEZE… the movie was so awful, I honestly am surprised all copies haven’t been collected into a big pile and burned… I noticed that both of the most recent movies I have watched, (this and “Knowing”) were from a company called “Summit Entertainment“… note to self, avoid movies made by Summit Entertainment.
I’m sorry, I don’t have anything else to add. It was a bad movie. The end.
Bottom Line: /puke
Best Quote(s):
