How I Stay Sane – Part 2

So yah, like anyone else, I feel a bit insane at times.  The stress of life, (ie. work, family, relationships, addictions, etc), take their toll on the human mind, and like anyone else, I seek ways to cope with the stressors and absurdities of life :)

I just thought I would share a few things over the next few posts that I use on a DAILY basis to keep my sanity, (and/or burn time), during the day.

More Comics

Here are a few more selections of web-based and web-available comics that I read on a regular basis.  Based on this and the prior list, I have covered ALL the comics I read on a daily basis, (I know, the height of my anti-intellecutualism is stunning).

lioLio – This cute little guy never talks, but the hilarious and sometimes shocking antics make for a quick burst of entertainment daily.

mspaintMS Paint Adventures - If you want to get the full effect of this comic, you would need to read the first 21 chapters of this hilarious and (mostly) insane comic.  This is by far the most fun of all the comics I read, as it has reader participation as it is based on the old turn-by-turn based typed instruction games of the early 90s, (ie. Kings Quest).  The author takes suggestions for the characters next move via. a text entry.

PS. Please realize to get the full effect of this cartoon, you would need to read through roughly 800-1000 panels… it was good reading for like 4 days straight to get caught up :) But it definately does capture the frustrations and overall rediculous aspects of this game genre.

(Since I wrote this entry, this adventure has ended.  You can still read the entire adventure by clicking the link above and, if you want, follow along with the author’s new creation here.  Homestruck)

tiny-sepukuTiny Sepuku – This is a cute abeit a bit twisted comic that only posts once or twice a week that gives snarky advise to people writing in questions about relationships.

tobyToby, Robot Satan – this is hilarious… I’m sorry, I don’t know how else to describe this beyond what the title suggests.

Dinosaur Comics – OK OK, so I know I already listed this one, but it is so good I am listing it here again… I have a weird sense of humor I guess.

  1. Hi there Nino,
the comics that you have listed are so cute!

Now that I have so much more time at hand, it is becoming a little worrisome about what I can do with my newfound freedom, the extra time at hand.

    I wanna stay sane too.

  2. LOL, I hear ya Shingo! On a more serious note, I have to be careful I don’t replace one addiction with another :)

Trying to become a well-rounded individual is HARD WORK :)

    Thanks for the comment! :)
